You realise he is extremely frightened and speak gently. "It's okay, son. I know you didn't want to do it. Tell me, is someone forcing you to do this?"

"Y-yes. He's really mean and hits me if i don't steal for him. My friends are forced to do it too!"

You suddenly realise you're on to some kind of burglary ring, and then a man who has been sitting at a nearby table rises and approaches the boy. Fearing that he may be of ill intent, you draw your sword.

But before you have completely unsheathed it, he spoke out, "Thou need not worry, I mean no harm to the child. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sir Percival, a knight in the service of our Lady Guinevere. For a moon* now we have been trying to acquire evidence of the child robbery ring, which we now have, partly thanks to you. We are grateful for your deed. May I have the honour of knowing your names?"

"The honour's all mine, really." You introduce yourself and Kandasa.

"It will be in order that the Lady bestow upon you a reward for your meritous service. The child will be safe in our care." Following that, Percival returned your purse and left with the boy.
